The overseas warehouse is the one located in any country other than the merchant's default country in order to ship orders as fast as possible.
It can be configured in the Merchant Panel, however, you need to meet certain requirements first.
Once you have created an overseas warehouse in the Merchant Panel and set up your products for the warehouse, you can fulfil the orders from the overseas warehouse.
How to find an order that should be shipped from the overseas warehouse?
There are 3 ways to do it:
- Use the filter Warehouse or Shipping tier on the Orders page to find such orders;
2. Check the warehouse name and the shipping tier on the Order Details page;
3. Refer to the shipping_option.warehousue_id API endpoint to get the warehouse information.
How to fulfil the orders from the overseas warehouse?
The orders from the overseas warehouse can be shipped only offline. Please refer to the article to learn how to do it. However, there are certain fulfilment requirements applied for such orders.
What are the fulfilment requirements?
If a merchant does not comply with Joom overseas warehouse requirements, this feature might be turned off for the account.
1. Offline shipping
Since Joom Logistics delivery is not available for the overseas warehouses at the moment, you have to fulfil such orders offline. You can select any logistics provider. Please contact our Merchant Support Team to apply.
2. Fast delivery
Compared to the orders shipped from the default warehouse, orders shipped from the overseas warehouse have a shorter guaranteed delivery period – 30 days. If you fail to deliver an order to the client within the guaranteed period, this order will be refunded due to non-delivery reason.
3. Place of shipment departure
The order must be shipped from the country the overseas warehouse is located in.
4. Tracking information
When you ship orders offline, do not forget to provide us with a valid tracking number. Joom evaluates the performance of the overseas warehouse orders based on the tracking number you provide. The order must be tracked to the customer and the delivery to the client must be confirmed.
