CSV is a simple file format used to store tabular data.

• The information in columns is separated by a delimiter (comma by default). 
• Each row corresponds to a certain product variant. 

Why might you need a CSV file?

If you want to add a lot of products with different variants, it'll be much faster and easier to upload them in a bulk with CSV than add them separately and manually. 

There are some changes in the process of working with CSV files.

What has been changed?

🚀 Now you can download and upload the files in both formats: CSV and Excel (XLSX). 

🚀 Now you can work with the templates and customize them by category or by actions for products.

🚀 We don’t accept Unique attributes anymore. Thus, you won’t be able to add new random columns to your file. You can add all the additional information about your product in the "Description" field instead.

🚀 Now you have 2 new features on the "Export" tab:

Pick the necessary categories in the filters and download the products with attributes of the selected category.

The file with the attributes will appear on the Downloads page.

You can select a list of actions that you want to apply to the product. E.g., you can change color or size. Then, only the columns with these attributes will be downloaded.

1. Click on "Export products" ⟶ "Export file" ⟶ "Export products with selected columns".
2. Choose the necessary columns and actions you want to apply to them.
3. Click on "Export".
