Product Basic Attributes

Product Attribute is a parameter and your product's feature that we use on Joom to represent your products in their product cards.

Product attributes can be divided into 2 groups:

Product Basic Attributes.
Product Variant Attributes.

Please note:

While filling in the fields, remove the words "Required" or "Recommended", and write the required attributes instead of them. Don't fill in the values below these words, you need to fill in instead of them.
Don't create your own CSV or Excel files. Use our templates only.
Don't change the fields and their names in the templates.
Don't delete, replace, or relocate the columns and fields in the templates.

Product SKU

Unique product identifier that is COMMON for a group of variants of ONE product. It's NOT the same as SKU.

Requirements:

English letters and numbers only.
Max. length: 128 symbols.
Should be the same for all the variants of ONE product.

Store ID

How to find the Store ID:

Create a store.
Find the Store ID – it's indicated on the store page to the right of the store's name.
Fill in the Store ID in the file.
If you have more than 1 store, indicate the ID of the specific store you want to add products for.

Product name

The product’s features and its basic characteristics.

The product naming template:

Product type (what) + Brand (who) + Characteristics (color, size) + Version.

Requirements:

English letters and numbers only.
Max. length: 150 symbols.
Spaces between words: required.
Product name should be the same for all the variations of ONE product.
Must be easy to read and understand.
The same Product SKU = the same Product name.

DON'T indicate:

CAPITAL letters only.
lowercase letters only.

Description

Readable text describing your product.

Requirements:

Language: English.
Max. length: 10 000 symbols.
Should be the same for all the variations of ONE product.
The same Product SKU = the same Description.

DON'T indicate:

Invalid symbols such as HTML codes.
Images.
Any contact information.
CAPITAL letters only.
lowercase letters only.

GTIN

Global Trade Item Number – unique number for your group of products.

GTINs cannot be removed – only modified.

Brand

The brand name that was given by the brand owner.

Not mandatory for non-branded products.
If you fill in this field, you will be asked to provide proof of your resale or ownership rights. Refer to the article to learn more.

Search Tags

Keywords that help users to find your products easily.

Requirements:

Language: English.
Use commas or space to separate tags.

Labels

For internal grouping of products.

Requirements:

Max. 40 symbols.

Price

Your product price in euro.

Requirements:

EUR only.
Use a dot as a delimiter, not a comma.
If you have an error while filling it, please check and change the formatting of this field.

DON'T indicate the currency, only the numbers.

Please indicate the prices without the VAT amount. Joom automatically calculates the VAT according to the country for each merchant.

MSRP

Manufacturer's suggested retail price.

It will be shown as the crossed-out original price. The number in the PRICE column is the actual sale price.

Dangerous Kind

Used to define the product type.

To enter the product attribute "dangerous kind" correctly, please use the following variants (for CSV and ERP):

Landing Page URL

URL to the product page on other platforms.

Product Main Image URL

Upload ONE common product main image for all the product variants.

We advise uploading the square image. If you upload a non-square picture, the squarest one will be selected as the main.

Requirements:

Direct link to the main image of your product.
Minimum resolution: no less than 550х550 px.
Side ratio from 1:1 to 3:4.
High quality, frontal.
Square or rectangular image.

DON'T:

Add frames and watermarks to the picture.
Use the photos provided by customers.
Upload repeated images.
Indicate the words "HOT, SALE, NEW", etc. on the picture.

Extra Image URLs

Requirements:

Images must be added in one cell separated by spaces. Don't use comma or semicolon!
Max. 20 images.
Images must refer to the same product.
Product should be shown from new sides and angles, don't duplicate all your main product or variant images here again.

Video ID

This feature is available for Top Stores only. Please refer to this article to learn more on how to upload videos.

Once you upload a video to the platform, copy its Video ID and insert it in your file.

Suggested Category ID

If you don't know which product category your product belongs to, you can leave this field blank. We will determine the product category ourselves. Specifying the product category will help us moderate the product faster.
