To start selling branded products on Joom, you have to become an authorized seller or distributor.
We have 3 main brand types:
“A” brands – worldwide acclaimed well-known brands, e.g., FILA, Samsung, LG, Missha, Dr.Jart+, Laneige, etc.
“B” brands – locally known brands, e.g., Nacific, Tiam, Ciracle, etc.
“C” brands – unknown brands. A and B brands need to be authorized, while for “C” brands, authorization is not required.
Now you can upload scans of your brand authorizing documents right in the Merchant Panel.
You can upload 3 types of documents confirming your status as:
- brand owner.
How to authorize a brand via Merchant Panel?
1. Choose the “Documents” tab on the left side menu.
2. Click on the “Add Document” button and select your type of trademark verification.
3. Fill in the required fields and submit the scans of documents (if needed).
“Title” field is used for the brand name and “Brand Name” is used for matching the title to brands registered on the platform.
Once you upload a document, it gets checked and verified, and then you get the corresponding status as the official brand owner, reseller, or distributor. Afterwards, you can add a brand into your product card.
How to request a new brand to be added to the authorization list?
- Merchant's name.
- Brand name (IP).
- Link to the brand's official website and to the account in social networks.
It takes up to 3 days to review and decline or validate your authorization request. Please be patient, since all the requests are reviewed in the order of them being received.
When your request is reviewed and approved, the brand will automatically appear in the brand list. Thereafter, you can choose and authorize this brand in the Merchant Panel.
If you sell unbranded products, there is no authorization needed:
- Upload your products.
- Leave the “Brand” field empty.
- Click “Save”, and your products are successfully uploaded.
By the “branded products” we mean products from the A and B categories, like: Fila, Cosrx, Missha, Nacific, Farmstay, etc.
